PM in Russia says Kudankulam to be operational in few weeks

PM Manmohan Singh who is on a three-day official visit to Russia has announced that the first reactor of the Kudankulam nuclear plant will be
operational in a couple of weeks: The PM added that the second unit of the plant will be operational in six months after that. He said he was confident of addressing the concerns on safety issues.
