84,403 human rights violation cases this year

A PTI report says that the National Human Rights Commission has registered 84,403 cases of alleged violation of human rights in the country in 2010-11.
Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh informed Rajya Sabha that out of the 84,403 registered cases, the number of complaint cases registered against police authorities was 29,167.
