Women break new ground: Can serve on submarines in UK

Women in Britain today broke another male barrier by winning the right to serve in battle stations underwater, on submarines. The lifting of the ban was announced by the Defence Secretary Philip Hammond after the Royal Navy conducted an 18-month review to come to conclusions that there were no
health reasons to bar women from undersea warfare, BBC reported.
