Tirupati temple to shut for 10 hours on Sat for lunar eclipse

Heads up if you're heading to Tirupathi.

The famous hill shrine of Lord Venkataeswara at Tirumala will remain closed for over 10 hours during lunar eclipse from 12 noon to 10-30 pm on Saturday. Rituals conducted to the processional idols including "Kalyanotsavam" and "Sahasradeepaalankara Seva" would be cancelled on that day, temple sources said. The free meal complexes on the hills would also be closed during the time, the sources added.
