December 08, 2011  17:29

It was a new low for Indian democracy today when two important members of Parliament -- S.S.Ahluwalia (BJP) and Rashid Alvi (Congress) had physical fight when they were attending a meeting of the Standing Committee on UID.     Sources say that the reason for provocation between them was the leak of proceedings of the committee to the media.

Both MPs reportedly used bad language, which was followed by a fist fight. In the melee, Alvi`s mobile fell down and was damaged. Sources also say that senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha tried to stop the fight between them, reports news24online.com.
