Lokayukta court rejects Kumaraswamy's bail plea

Rediff.com's Vicky Nanjappa reports that there is trouble brewing for former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy as the special Lokayukta court has rejected his bail plea. The court was hearing a matter pertaining to a mining lease in which it was alleged that Kumaraswamy had shown favour. Now the former CM will have to appear before the magistrate before proceedings in the case against him will continue.
