HC rejects Yeddyurappa's bail plea

Karnataka High Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of BS Yeddyurappa.

Yeddyurappa appeared before the court in connection with the illegal denotification of land when he was the Karnataka chief minister.

The prosecution was sanctioned by Governor HR Bharadwaj. With the bail being rejected, Yeddyurappa can face arrest soon.

The former chief minister will also appear before Lokayukta court today.

He had postponed appearing before the court once before on health grounds.
