Gujarat HC acquits 12 in Haren Pandya case

Twelve of the 15 persons convicted by a POTA court in the Haren Pandya murder case were acquitted today.

Former Gujarat home minister Pandya was shot dead on March 26, 2003. The case was first probed by city police and subsequently, investigations were handed over to the CBI. A special POTA court had convicted 15 persons for the murder, of whom 12 had appealed against their conviction.
