SC suspends mining in 2 more K'taka districts

In other news, the Supreme Court has suspended mining operations of two other districts of Tumkur and Chitradurga in Karnataka. The SC passed the ruling saying that a balance has to be struck between economic development and environment. Last month, the SC suspended mining operations in Bellary as well.
