Parl to have two extra sittings this session

Incidentally, the Parliament will have two extra sittings in the ongoing Monsoon Session - this Saturday as also the next Saturday. The meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the Rajya Sabha yesterday decided to have the two Saturdays as working days, and a similar decision is likely to be taken by the Lok Sabha.

The sitting of both the Houses is not taking place on September 1 on account of Ganesh Chaturthi. The Houses may not sit even on August 31 if Eid is celebrated that day.
