Meanwhile, yoga guru Baba Ramdev met President Pratibha Patil here today and submitted a memorandum against the arrest of Anna Hazare. According to reports, Ramdev requested President Patil to direct the Delhi Police to allow Hazare to hold his fast for a strong anti-corruption Lokpal Bill.

The yoga guru, who was evicted along with thousands of his supporters from Delhi''s Ramlila Maidan during their agitation on the night of June 4, later visited Tihar Jail to meet Hazare.
