Slain RTI activist feared IPS officer would kill h

On January 19, 2010, slain RTI activist Shehla Masood had filed a complaint with the Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh against an IPS officer Pawan Shrivastava for making threatening calls. Though the later is dated January 19, the incident, she wrote, happened a year and a half ago in 2008. She ends her letter to the DGP saying she feared for her life.

Her letter has a note scrawled by the Inspector General of Police, Bhopal, saying 'legal action or departmental action may be taken as deemed fit.'
