Govt may review SC judgment on Salwa Judum

In other news, Home Minister P Chidambaram says the government will decide on seeking a review of the Apex court judgment on Salwa Judum in the next few days.

The Centre was all set to file a petition in the Supreme Court, asking it to review its judgment on the disbanding of Salwa Judum as the order is likely affect the anti-Naxal operations, yesterday.

The government law officers are exploring the grounds on which the review petition will be filed this week and they have closeted with senior Home Ministry officials several times in past few days to discuss the issue, sources said.
