Mangal (Thu May 15 1997 20:17 IST)

Whom do you admire most: Advani or Vajpayee? I have a sneaking feeling you are going to say Murli Manohar Joshi because he will be India's next PM?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:17 IST)

Dear Mr Sinha, besides making you the External Affairs minister, what can we do to improve our relationship with Pakistan?

Dr. (Thu May 15 1997 20:18 IST)

Dear Shatru: Thanks for the answer. You definately have the enthusiasm and the backing of the people. I am positive, most of the Indians in the U.S. would love to get our country out of the mess. Can you and your party develop a strategy for us the NRIs to participate in a constructive manner to accelrate the change. I am actively looking forward to this. Dr. Varinder Sharma

Shatrughan Sinha (Thu May 15 1997 20:18 IST)

Dear Vijay from Deewar , Since u have put me in the bracket of also-rans in comparison to AB I would like to tell you that you can discuss with me films or politics - it's up to you, but I wouldn't like to comment on AB anymore since he has come into the bracket of "has been" especially after Mrityudaata - certainly my intention is not to hurt him.

Shareef (Thu May 15 1997 20:18 IST)

Your response to Shikha: How do you survive then? Or have you made enough money in the movies?

Banke (Thu May 15 1997 20:19 IST)

Hello Bhaiya how are you? Do you think the BJP will come to power? WHy did you join a communalist party like the BJP ANYWAY ? How could you when you value the democracy of India so much, why did you not start your own party?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:19 IST)

Who is the sexiest woman in politics? Is it Renukajee who you interviewed this week on Zee?

Shikha (Thu May 15 1997 20:20 IST)

Mr Sinha, what do you think will become of Laloo, that he is corrupthas been known for a long time, now with the CBI cracking the whip it has even come close to become an established contention (corruption). Do you think the Gujral govt will buckle under pressure and Laloo will get another life? What is your opinion?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:22 IST)

Amitabh Bachchan can never been a has been. He will be remembered a THOUSAND YEARS HENCE, CAN it be said of you? But tell me, how did your war with AB start? You have never given a convincing reply. Was it Dostana? Or was Zeenat the reason?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:23 IST)

Dear Mr Sinha, besides making you the External Affairs minister, what can we do to improve our relationship with Pakistan?

Shatrughan Sinha (Thu May 15 1997 20:23 IST)

Dear Vijay, Even without making me the external affairs minister, or for that matter any minister, we can and we have to improve our relations with our neighbours especially Pakistan, through goodwill, friendly gestures, communications and dialogues.

dpawan (Thu May 15 1997 20:23 IST)

What good things you found in BJP which made you join it?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:23 IST)

Dear Mr Sinha, besides making you the External Affairs minister, what can we do to improve our relationship with Pakistan? -- Vijay Kumar Bhatia

Shambhu (Thu May 15 1997 20:24 IST)

Mr Sinha do you regret losing Mr Reena Roy?

Shareef (Thu May 15 1997 20:24 IST)

Have you ever met Laloo Yadav? What did you say to him? Is he scared of you?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:25 IST)

What is your point of view about Pakistan, especially since you are such popular figure there? -- Vijay Kumar Bhatia

A. (Thu May 15 1997 20:25 IST)

Shatru bhaiya kucho humre Bihar khatir karbo ki na. Ya hai tere bhanjte rahboo.

Mangal (Thu May 15 1997 20:25 IST)

If you were to become chief minister of Bihar, how would you make it into a state like Maharashtra? I ask because I am a Bihari who despairs of my state being a begging bowl of India. I am from Chhapra.

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:26 IST)

How are your twins and your little daughter? What are they doing these days? Now that you lead a hectic political life, do they miss you a lot?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:26 IST)

How are your twins and your little daughter? What are they doing these days? Now that you lead a hectic political life, do they miss you a lot? -- Vijay Kumar Bhatia

Shatrughan Sinha (Thu May 15 1997 20:27 IST)

Dear Mangal, I adore Advaniji, admire Atal Bihari Vajpayee and love Murli Manohar Joshi - they are all very capable and good. Our party has already projected Mr Atal Vajpayee as the next PM when we come to power very soon. It's no secret and even Dr Joshi has supported this brilliant idea!

Shikha (Thu May 15 1997 20:27 IST)

Mr Sinha, in a large and complex countries like ours, what we need is leaders of vision, leaders who think of the national interest, not merely regional interests which is happening with so many regional parties gaining importance at the Centre. India today really doesn't have leaders with vision for the future. Why is it so? Do you think there are any visionaries in politics?

dpawan (Thu May 15 1997 20:27 IST)

Why BJP prefers to stay in the opposition?

Manisha: (Thu May 15 1997 20:28 IST)

Mr Sinha: Don't you think politicians are also like cinestars! They act like comedians, villains, heroes.. and do really nothing good for the people. Your comment?

Babu Ismail (Thu May 15 1997 20:28 IST)

Good evening, Shatruji, I am, like you, a good old Bihari. How did a state that produced Rajendrababu, the great JP, Arun Shourie, you and, of course, me, ever end up like this? Who do you hold responsible for this?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:29 IST)

Who do you like better in the BJP? Ataljee or Laljee?

Menaka (Thu May 15 1997 20:30 IST)

Mr Sinha: What do you have to say about the riots caused after your partys rath yatra reulsted in the destruction of the mosque and SO MANY PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES? HOW CAN YOU JUSTIFY TRYING TO GET VOTES IN THE NAME OF GOD? WHAT IS YOU AGENDA? YOUR PARTY DOES NOT HAVE A ECONOMIC POLICY EXCEPT TO COMPARE POTATO CHIPS TO COMPUTER CHIPS!!!!IF THAT IS THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION OF THE LEADERS OF YOUR PARTY I SHUDDER WHAT IT WILL BE LIKE STEPPING IN TO THE 21ST CENTURY BE LIKE? STONE AGE???

Shatrughan Sinha (Thu May 15 1997 20:30 IST)

Dear Shambhu, No I dont regret at all, missing Mister Reena Roy - b'coz I dont even know this chap. Had u asked me about Mrs or Ms Reena Roy - well, things could have been different.

SHAMBHU! (Thu May 15 1997 20:32 IST)

MR SINHA: Do you miss MS/MRS REENA ROY? DO YOU REGRET LOSING HER?

C D N Singh (Thu May 15 1997 20:33 IST)

If you were given a choice of building a Ram temple at Ayodhya and building a grand hospital at the same sport, what would you choose and why?

Shatrughan Sinha (Thu May 15 1997 20:33 IST)

Dear Vijay, of course I miss them a lot -- especially my youngest daughter who is not even 10 years old. But believe me, no matter how busy I am in social, political or professional life, I try to give them the best of the time and that's why, fortunately, in their eyes, I am the best father in the world. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my wife - whether she considers me to be the best husband!

Shikha (Thu May 15 1997 20:34 IST)

Yes, Mr Sinha taking off from Mr babu Ismail's question, the state which gave a Rajendarbabu, a JP,such towering figures in Indian History has been reduced to such political and social penury. When do you think this rot really set in?

Vijay (Thu May 15 1997 20:36 IST)

What is your point of view about Pakistan, especially since you are such popular figure there? -- Vijay Kumar Bhatia

dpawan (Thu May 15 1997 20:37 IST)

When your party comes to power in Bihar what different from the past Govt.s will it do to put it on the path of progress?

Manpreet (Thu May 15 1997 20:37 IST)

What do you think about the current crop of actors are they better then you or do they lack the charishma of the stars of yester years

G C Munda (Thu May 15 1997 20:38 IST)

Hullo, Sinhaji, you are not the type of personality who will meekly accept what is doled out by the BJP leadership. How many times do you disagree with them? For instgance, I know you made them very unhappy by backing Sanjay Dutt. It is goog to know that you are a decent chap, but there is no place, alas, for decent men in the BJP. Or am I wrong?

Shikha (Thu May 15 1997 20:38 IST)

Mr Sinha, you represent a party which wears a communal label, something that cannot be removed for a very long time. After the Babri Masjid episode your party cannot be trusted. How can the BJP wipe this from its brow and emerge as a national party with a sound and meaningful agenda?

Manisha: (Thu May 15 1997 20:40 IST)

Mr Sinha: When do you foresee yourself as the future chief minister of Bihar? Sooner than later?
