Kar Vivad Samadhan Scheme extended to January 31

The Union government has extended the date of the Kar Vivad Samadhan Scheme to January 31 through an ordinance.

The ordinance provides that the designated authority would pass orders within 30 days of filing of declaration as against the earlier period of 60 days.

The declarant would be required to pay the sum, determined by the designated authority, within 30 days of passing of such orders. All other conditions of the scheme remain unchanged.
