Banks across India will remain closed for multiple days in the upcoming week. National banks, including the State Bank of India have announced a five-day holiday streak beginning April 9. The holidays are slated for various festivals and occasions, including Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, Telegu New Year, Bohag Bihu, and Eid celebrations.
