Will Sisodia get bail today? Hearing at 2:30 pm
July 03, 2023

The High Court on Monday is scheduled to pass an order on Delhi's Former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia at 2:30 pm in Enforcement Directorate (ED) case related to the Delhi Excise Policy matter.

The Court is also scheduled to order on the bail petitions of Vijay Nair, ex-communication in charge of Aam Aadmi Party, Abhishek Boinpally (Hyderabad Based Businessman), Binoy Babu Binoy, (manager with a liquor company M/S Pernod Ricard) in connection with the same case.

The Bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma in May had kept the order reserved after concluding the arguments and decided to reserve the order on the regular bail plea of Manish Sisodia and Vijay Nair.

The same Bench had also kept reserved the order on Abhishek Boinpally, Hyderabad Businessman Binoy Babu Binoy, (manager with a liquor company M/S Pernod Ricard) in connection with the same case. The Trial Court had earlier denied the bail to them.

Earlier Delhi High Court dismissed the bail plea of Manish Sisodia in a CBI case alleging corruption in the implementation of a previous liquor policy in the national capital.
