PM visit: Ban on drones over Mumbai tomorrow

In view of PM Narendra Modi's Mumbai visit no drones, paragliders, remote control microlight aircraft flying activities are allowed in jurisdiction of BKC PS, Andheri PS, Meghwadi PS, Jogeshwari Police Station on January 19. Order will remain in force from 12:01 am to 11 pm of 19th January. 

Modi will inaugurate the new Mumbai Metro line 2A and line 7 tomorrow, which is built at the cost of around Rs 12,600 crore. 

 The Prime Minister will also ride the metro after the inauguration. 

 According to the Prime Minister's Office, the metro line 2A connecting Dahisar E and DN Nagar (yellow line) is around 18.6 Km long, while metro line 7 connecting Andheri E - Dahisar E (red line) is around 16.5 Km long. 

 The foundation stone of these lines was also laid by the Prime Minister in 2015. These Metro Trains are Made in India. 

 As per the PMO office, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth around Rs 38,800 crore in Mumbai providing seamless urban mobility has been one of the key focus areas of PM Modi.
