Freudian slip, Mr Bush?
May 19, 2022

Speaking in Dallas this afternoon, former US President George W Bush made a significant verbal slip-up while discussing the war in Ukraine. He tried referencing what he described as the "wholly unjustified and brutal invasion"  -- but said Iraq, instead of Ukraine. He corrected himself and said, "I mean of Ukraine."

The Bush administration, at the time, claimed there were weapons of mass destructions in the country although United Nations inspectors later discovered no evidence weapons of the kind existed before the invasion.
