Update: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh reaches the office of Crime Branch Unit 11 in Kandivali to join the investigation in the alleged extortion case.
Singh, who was declared 'absconding' by a Mumbai court, reached the city today.
He is facing extortion charges in several cases in Maharashtra.
