Mumbai's COVID-19 tally reached 6,98,867 after 1,057 people were detected with the infection, and the death toll increased by 48 to touch 14,671, an official said.

         

He said 1,312 people were discharged from hospitals. 

       

The time taken for the tally to double has reached 334 days and the overall growth rate of cases is 0.20 per cent.
