Omicron effect: Intl flights won't resume on Dec 15

India's aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, has decided to postpone resumption of scheduled international flights from December 15 in the wake of emergence of new Covid variant, Omicron.

After a long hiatus of more than 20 months, the government had on November 26 announced the resumption of scheduled international commercial flights from December 15.
