Govt promised double income by 2022, but making farmers poorer: Tejashwi Yadav
September 25, 2020

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has attacked the government over the farm bills, saying it had promised to double farmers' income by 2022 but these farm bills will make them poorer.

The government has made our 'anndata' a puppet through its 'fund data'. The farm bills are anti-farmer and have left them dejected. The government had said that they'll double farmers' income by 2022 but these bills will make them poorer. The agriculture sector has been corporatised," Tejashwi Yadav said.

Meanwhile, farmers, under the aegis of Bharatiya Kisan Union and Revolutionary Marxist Party of India, block Amritsar-Delhi National Highway near Phillaur in Jalandhar in protest against the farm bills passed in Parliament.
