nCoV: Primary schools in Delhi shut till March 31

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia says all schools in Delhi up to Std 5, both government and private, to remain shut till March 31, in view of the Coronavirus. The government has temporarily suspended biometric attendance in its offices in wake of the virus threat. While on schools, Iran has closed schools and universities for a month over the coronavirus.

India also announced that 16,076 passengers including crew aboard 452 ships from China are not allowed to disembark at Indian ports. Crew, seafarers having travel history to coronavirus-hit countries will be barred from embarking at Indian ports. All assistance will be provided to crew, passengers in case of sickness as per WHO norms. Japan has quarantined all arrivals from China, South Korea over the virus.
