Global Covid-19 cases top 9.4 million

As per Johns Hopkins Universitys tally, global confirmed Covid-19 cases have climbed to 94,05,800 while the death toll has mounted to 4,82,128. 

The United States continues to be the hardest hit with 23,80,452 cases.

The US is followed by Brazil, Russia, India, and the United Kingdom.

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom said he expects the global COVID-19 case tally to reach one crore next week. He reiterated the urgent need to use all tools to suppress the transmission of the novel coronavirus.
