Ram Sevak, a resident of Shiv Vihar, affected by the riots says, "I am living here for the past 35 years.There are only one or two houses of Hindus in this bylane, but we never faced any problem. At the time of violence, my Muslim brothers assured me: 'Uncleji sleep well, there will be no harm."
