Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, Chief of the Air Staff, made a farewell call on President Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President of India is the head of all the three forces.
The government has appointed Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria as the new chief of the Indian Air Force. Bhadauria, who is currently vice chief of air staff, will take over the post of chief of Air staff after Dhanoa retires on September 30.
