Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi, Lucknow and other parts of northern India on Tuesday, reports said. 

The earthquake had its epicenter in Nepal and was measured 5.1 on Richter scale.

"An earthquake was recorded in Delhi on Tuesday sometime back. Tremors were felt in Delhi-National Capital Region," private weather agency Skymet tweeted.
