Several injured in shootout in Netherlands

Several people injured in shooting in Dutch city of Utrecht in Netherlands. The BBC report that several people have been injured after a man opened fire on a tram in Utrecht, police have said.

A square near a tram station has been cordoned off by authorities, and emergency services are at the scene.

The shooting took place at about 10:45 local time. Three helicopters have been despatched. Police have asked people to keep roads clear for emergency workers to get through.
