Another veteran -- a journalist -- passes into the ages. E Gopinath, who was associated with news agency ANI for nearly three decades, passes away. He covered the first polls in independent India and was the first Indian journalist who interviewed Che Guevara  and Fidel Castro in Cuba. RIP.
