PM, Rahul lay wreaths as remains of CRPF martyrs reach Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays wreath on the mortal remains of the Central Reserve Police Force jawans at Palam airport, New Delhi on Friday.

Earlier, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a;so paid tributes.

A military plane carrying the mortal remains of the CRPF men killed in the terror attack in Pulwama arrived in New Delhi on Friday evening.

The bodies were received by the home minister and senior officials of the CRPF at the Palam Technical area, officials said.

41 CRPF personnel were killed and five injured on Thursday in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.  -- ANI/PTI
