Janata Dal-Secular's H D Kumaraswamy will be sworn in as the chief minister of Karnataka on May 23, not May 21 as reported earlier. 

Earlier, after meeting the Governor, Kumaraswamy said that he and his party along with the Congress was to form the government in Karnataka, after BS Yeddyurappa announced his resignation ahead of the floor test on Saturday.
