Lehmann to continue to coach Australian team; Paine to be new captain
March 27, 2018

Cricket Australia CEO  James Sutherland is addressing the media and the world all over about the ball tampering incident.

Here are the highlights from his press conference:

>> Apologise to all Australians, particularly all the kids who love cricket and idolise the cricketers

>> Preliminary findings have been discussed. The key finding is that prior ball tampering knowledge was restricted to three players -- Captain Steve Smith, Vice Captain David Warner and player Cameron Bancroft.

>> Coach Darren Lehmann wasn't involved and has not stepped down and will continue to be the head coach.

>> The three players included in the ball tampering incident will leave South Africa and will be replaced with Glenn Maxwell, Joe Burns, and Matthew Renshaw.

>> Tim Paine to captain Australia

>> In the next 24 hours, we will be in a position to announce sanctions
