Shamianas have been erected at Azad Maidan to provide a measure of relief under the daunting March sun. Mumbai Mirror reports that marchers are carrying water bottles covered with cloth to keep the water cool. They fill the bottles from drinking water tankers, roadside taps, wells and hand pumps along the 180-km journey from Nashik to Mumbai.
