Korean sensation Chung retires; Federer through to Aus Open finals
January 26, 2018

After receiving treatment for a blister on his foot, Hyeon Chung has retired from the semi-finals of the Australian Open.

His opponent, Roger Federer, world number 2, is through to the finals where he will play Marin Cilic in what is being deemed as a repeat of the Wimbledon final in 2017.

Chungs claps to the crowd as he walks off, and they respond in kind. It's been a great run for the Korean, but this isn't the way he will have wanted it to finish.

The finals will be played on Sunday.
