Rahul congratulates Team India for Under-19 World Cup victory

Congress president Rahul Gandhi congratulated our Under-19 Team India for winning the ICC World Cup trophy by beating Australia by eight wickets. Taking to Twitter, the Congress leader wrote, "Congratulations Team India on your resounding U 19 Cricket World Cup win! India takes great pride in the success of its new generation of cricket stars. "
The Rahul Dravid-coached side thus becomes the first team in the history of the event to win the crown for a record fourth time.
India's previous title came in Australia six years ago when the Unmukt Chand-led team beat the hosts in the final. The Virat Kohli-led side was victorious in 2008 and Mohammed Kaif was captain when India triumphed way back in 2000.
