Reporters say Sushma Swaraj or Suresh Prabhu likely contenders for defence.

Media reports speculate that Sushma Swaraj may leave the ministry of external affairs and move to the defence ministry. 

If Sushma Swaraj becomes the Defence minister, she would be the second woman heading the department after Indira Gandhi.

Speculation is rife that Suresh Prabhu may also get the portfolio.
