"After all hardcore reforms, the economy is on track and moving in right direction," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at rally in Dahej, Gujarat.

"Many economists agree that the fundamentals of economy are strong. We have taken tough decisions for the economy and will continue to do so while maintaining financial stability," the PM said.

"We are committed towards fair and transparent functioning of the economy. Demonetisation and GST were steps in this direction," he said. -- PTI
