The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast showers coupled with thunder and lightning over the next few hours in Mumbai.

According to IMD's forecast, Mumbai will experience 'loud peals of thunder with frequent lightning flashes, moderate to heavy spell of rain and maximum wind speed 29 to 74 Kmph', a Times of India report said.

The forecast is valid up to 5.53 pm today.
