HP polls: India's first voter casts his vote

India's oldest voter Shyam Saran Negi, 100, today cast his vote in Kinnaur during polling in Himachal Pradesh.

"Everyone should vote. This is the biggest right we have been given by our Constitution," he said after exercising his franchise for the 29th time since 1951. 

Negi has voted 16 times in the Lok Sabha elections and 13 times in assembly polls.
