Samajwadi Party workers perform Havan in Lucknow ahead of the election results.


Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav used the Bua-Bhatija (nephew-aunt) reference, the same address he used, to make a dig on the BSP supremo, has said that although he believes that the Samajwadi Party and Congress combine has got the support of majority in UP, if need be, the SP is open to ally with the BSP.

The overture was immediately rejected by Mayawati.
