Indrani Mukerjea being escorted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai. Indrani complained that she was beaten and had bruises on her arms and legs after she complained about the murder of a fellow inmate. The judge today accepted that she be medically examined. If her claims are true, (that she was beaten and the injuries are not self-inflicted) an FIR will be filed against the jail authorities.
