MP government releases Rs 6 crore for 6 farmers who were killed

The Madhya Pradesh government has released Rs 6 crore for the six farmers who were killed in Mandsaur. 

Six farmers were killed and several others injured in western Madhya Pradeshs Mandsaur last Tuesday when the police opened fire during protests for debt relief and better farm prices.

Soon after the incident, hundreds of irate farmers torched two police stations, eight trucks, an ambulance and two motorbikes at different places in the region ravaged by drought and farm suicides.
