Djokovic confirms he will not play again in 2017

Novak Djokovic has announced he will not play again in 2017. The 12-time Grand Slam champ announced his decision on Facebook.
Djokovic retired injured during his Wimbledon quarter-final match against Tomas Berdych on July 12 citing an elbow injury.
The 2011 and 2015 US Open champion said at the time he had suffered an elbow problem for over a year and a half.
This means that Djokovic will miss the US Open which begins on August 28.
