ED summons Shah Rukh Khan in IPL-related FEMA violation case

The Enforcement Directorate has issued a notice to actor Shah Rukh Khan and others for an Indian Premiere League Foreign Exchange Management Act violation adjudication case.

The ED has started adjudication proceeding against Shah Rukh Khan in the case.

An Economic Times report said, 'The summon is in connection with the case pertaining to the sale of some shares of Knight Riders Sports Private Limited (KRSPL) to a Mauritius-based firm at a cost lower than their actual value. The sale has resulted in a loss of Rs 73.6 crore.'
