US, Mexico agree not to speak publicly for now on border wall payment
January 28, 2017

After having a chat for over an hour on the phone, US President Donald Trump and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto have decided that neither parties will speak publicly for now about the payment of the wall proposed to be built by the Trump administration.

The conversation came amid an ongoing dispute over a proposed border wall.

Sources cited by two news agencies said the two leaders spoke less than 24 hours after Pena Nieto cancelled a face-to-face meeting with the US leader.
