Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi for 'supporting Jallikattu'.

"On behalf of government and people of Tamil Nadu, thank you for your support in enabling Jallikattu to be held in Tamil Nadu once again," the CM said.

He also said that the ordinance promulgated today by the state government, Jallikattu is to be conducted with customary fervour with all necessary safeguards. -- ANI
