Is this teen the next Tendulkar?
January 05, 2017
Mumbai's 17-year-old cricket prodigy Prithvi Shaw arrived in some style and with some fortune.
Leading Mumbai's chase of 256 in the Ranji Trophy semi-final against Tamil Nadu, Shaw was on 99 on debut when he was caught at gully off TN medium pacer V Shankar.
As he walked away, the umpires decided to check for a no ball. And it turned out to be one. The youngster was back and two balls later he had got his century.
He is the second youngest after Sachin Tendulkar to hit a century on debut in first class cricket.
Is this the arrival of the next big star?
