Sandra Bullock has donated $1 million (Rs 6.3 crore) to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The actress has joined a host of Hollywood stars who have pledged money to the American Red Cross following the devastating flooding in Houston, Texas.

"I'm just grateful I can do it. We all have to do our part," Bullock said.

The American Red Cross called it an incredible gift, adding: We're so thankful.

Other celebrities including the Kardashians, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, comedian Kevin Hart and singer Jennifer Lopez have all donated.
