Sensex rises to all-time high of 30,030 points

Sensex at a record high of 30,030.80 points. Nifty at 9,328.75. 

Indian shares gained for a third straight session, with the broader NSE Nifty index hitting record high of 9,343 as upbeat corporate earnings and US tax reform optimism lifted sentiment.

The Sensex rose 0.25 percent while the NSE Nifty gained 0.22 per cent. The rupee strengthened to as much as 63.99 per US dollar for the first time since August 2015, compared with its close at 64.27 on Tuesday.
